Head For the Hills!!

We often describe ourselves as a Connecticut River Vally Band, but this weekend we’re heading for the hills and then some! Read on…

Let the Wild Rumpus Begin: Saturday May 12 is the 6th annual Hilltown Spring Festival, and we’ll be rumpaging all afternoon with 2000 kids and parents, playing Ranky Tanky songs and doing a recycled instrument work-shop. The line-up looks great, we’ll be joined by The Primate Fiasco, Lui Collins, Tony Vacca and more.

Some Bright Morning Western MA CD Release: Sunday May 13. We’ll be taking the stage at Memorial Hall in Shelburne Falls. This room holds some lovely memories for us of previous cd releases and benefit concerts, and some blurry memories too (Anand had a fever of 102 during the Bottle Of Bread benefit years ago). We’re very excited to be coming back to this beautiful room.

Listen for us this friday afternoon on The River Sound Cafe with Joan Holliday. We hobbled along without Scott’s four-limbed support, but had fun nonetheless. We might even have made Joan cry a little.
